What is the purpose of the Men's Workshop?

It's an intense weekend for men in AA recovery, featuring terrific speakers, intense Step
work and emphasis on Spirituality.

What is the agenda of the weekend?

What is the Dock Crandell Scholarship Fund?

It's a fund established by our founder to make the Workshop available to anyone,
regardless of financial status.

How do I apply for a scholarship?

Simply get on the mailing list and when you receive your registration form, fill out the
information on scholarships, call a member of the scholarship committee and we'll take
care of the rest.

What's the lodging like?

We'll it ain't the Hilton! It's a 4-H Camp. There are 18 bunks per cabin with 8 men in each
room and a front room reserved for speakers. It's comfortable, but there are no phones,
TVs or other amenities. Rock Eagle does supply linens and towels.

What does the registation fee cover?

It covers your registration, Friday night barbecue, 3 meals on Saturday and breakfast
Sunday. It also includes all coffee breaks and snacks throughout the weekend. Just
bring your Big Book & Sobriety.

Do I get a registration confirmation?

Yes, you'll receive a confirmation card about two weeks prior to the Workshop or you
can check this site for a confirmation once they start coming in.

What happens when you reach the 400 maximum
registration?

400 is the cut-off. After we reach that number, your name will be placed on a waiting list.
As we have cancellations, the vacant slots will be filled on a first-come basis.

What do I do if I register and find I can't come?

Notify us at the number on your form. Don't send someone in your place. We have to do
to the next name on the waiting list to be fair to all who register. Once you are registered,
NO subsitution is allowed if you decide not to come. Your slot will go to the next person
on the waiting list.

Do I get a refund if I cancel?

You cannot get a refund of the deposit, but the balance of the registration fee can be
refunded if requested.

What do I need to bring?

Strictly casual clothes and, of course, your Big Book, your willingness and open mind!

What time on Friday does registration start?

Registration begins at 1:00 PM on Friday afternoon and the first meeting is at 4:00 PM.
The barbecue dinner is at 5:30 PM.
